My father played for the Rockets back in 1947-48, his name was GORDON BROWN. I do have newspaper articles from the Ottawa Journal 1948 about him. However, I do not have a team picture of him.
I notice the pictures on-line do not have him (my father) in them.
Could you please help me out, I would like to know more information when my father played with the Inkerman Rockets and I would love to have a team picture or even just a picture of him wearing the Rocket Jersery.

Thank You!

Awesome stuff here. I met Boris Mikhailov in St. Petersburg many years ago when he was coaching SKA, and when my translator told him I was from Canada, he made a bit of a face and seemed like he could care less.. But I was fine with that. He was ornery at the best of times during the '72 series and I guess he continued to be ornery. And I know that he lives in one of fanciest apartments in the heart of the city at Nevski Prospekt with an indoor swimming pool. Some Russian players ended in poverty, others, like Mikhailov, didn't.

Brian, I've just discovered your site and I love it. I've been reading your works and enjoying you on television for many years and I'm so happy about this website. I have my own memories of the Original Six, especially the Montreal Canadiens and the 1972 Summit Series, and I just want to say thank you for stories about these and for being part of my life over the years.
